Migration

Helpful, hands-on migration from your current systems.

We work with you to plan, extract and reconcile your data, so the move to Involve feels manageable rather than risky.

Schools stay on bad systems because migration feels dangerous. We treat it as a collaborative exercise: we plan together, keep you informed at each step, and help you decide what to bring across and what to archive.

01

What we can migrate

Students, staff, contacts and relationships, admissions history, attendance marks, assessment and reporting history, behaviour and safeguarding records, fee ledgers and payment history, co-curricular participation, documents and consents — where the underlying data is available.

02

Sources we handle

SIMS, iSAMS, Arbor, Bromcom, Engage, ISAMS bolt-ons, spreadsheets and the long tail of single-purpose tools. Where an export is limited, we work with what the system can provide and agree the best approach with you.

03

Mapping and cleansing

Duplicate contacts, orphaned records and inconsistent codes are surfaced in a review list. You decide the rules; we apply them consistently and keep a log of the transformations we make.

04

Reconciliation

You receive a reconciliation pack with record counts, financial totals, attendance percentages and spot-check samples, old system against new. We use it to identify gaps and agree a sensible sign-off point before go-live.

05

Archives and compliance

Anything that shouldn't be live data — leavers beyond retention, legacy finance years — can be retained as a searchable archive so you can decommission old systems without keeping licences alive.
